If you are looking to finish off driving in your stakes with a mallet, use the shock absorber by fastening it to the post rammer (130mm and 160mm). Each shock absorber can absorb the hits that can be very violent from the mallet and thereby avoid splitting the wooden stake.

However, this shock absorber does not reduce the force needed to use the mallet.
